A number of motorcycle events take place in America during the year. To begin with, there is the Sturgis Rally. This rally brings together motorcyclists from all around the country who congregate by the thousands in August. It has been one of the most famous motorcycle events since its inception in 1938. It has no age limit and there is no definition of what kind of motorcycle you should have. It is because of this open door policy that the event attracts a high number of riders, there are times when there are over 500,000 of them registered.

The other famous motorcycle event is the Daytona Beach Bike Week. This popular gathering takes place in Daytona Beach, Florida usually in late February. This event, known as the “World’s Largest Motorcycle Event”, usually takes one week and has a number of events connected with it. There are concerts and motorcycle rallies plus a number of high profile people who hold parties simultaneously. This rally is considered to be giving the Sturgis rally competition since there are times when it also registers close to 500,000 participants. The other reason is that it has more to offer. Apart from bike race, there are other activities such as seafood festival and clambake. Then there is the Laconia Motorcycle week. It is considered a rally of all types that is held in New Hampshire. It also holds other events the same time. There are concerts, fireworks shows, and swap-meets to mention but a few.
