Due to the nature of leather, it is hard to add motorcycle jacket patches on leather jackets and yet, they add flair of individuality by defining your personality. Even when using a machine, a majority of people make the mistake of using the normal sized machine needles that break up easily. It is far more advisable to use a thicker sized needle for leather and especially those used by shoemakers. They are specifically designed to get through tough material. This will provide room for you to place your finger between the lining and the jacket. Then you can proceed to sew it in.
